35% of compact sedan Aura sales will be diesel: Hyundai January 13, 2020 at 12:30PM

Hyundai Motor India is making a significant BSVI diesel play with its upcoming compact sedan Aura targeting at least 30%-35% sales to come from it. This is in contrast to competitors like Maruti Suzuki which will phase out the diesel engine option in Dzire on migrating to BSVI. Same holds true for Tata Tigor and Volkswagen Ameo which will offer only petrol options in BSVI versions. Ford Aspire and Honda Amaze however, will continue to offer BSVI diesel.
