नई दिल्ली MG Motors भारत में 8 फरवरी को लॉन्च करेगा। इस कार के बारे में कंपनी ने अभी तक कोई डीटेल शेयर नहीं की है। कार के न्यू जेनेरेशन मॉडल में कंपनी अपडेटेड इंटीरियर और एक्स्टीरियर दे सकती है। इसके अलावा कंपनी कार पावरट्रेन में भी बदलाव कर सकती है। कंपनी के यूके मॉडल में हेक्सागॉनल फ्रंट ग्रिल दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा इस कार में नए बंपर, LED हेडलाइट लैम्प्स और इंटिग्रेटेड LED DRLs (डेटाइम रनिंग लैंप्स) दिए गए हैं। कार में नई स्टाइलिंग के साथ अलॉय वील्ज दिए गए हैं। इस कार को 5 तरीके चार्ज किया जा सकता है। इसके लिए ग्राहकों को ऑनबोर्ड चार्जिंग केबल, AC फास्ट चार्जर, डीलरशिप्स पर 50kw DC सुपर फास्ट चार्जर, एक्सटेंडेड और चार्ज ऑन द गो जैसे विकल्प मिलते हैं। जेडएस ईवी में 44.5 kWh बैटरी पैक है। एक बार फुल चार्ज होने पर यह इलेक्ट्रिक एसयूवी 340 किलोमीटर तक चलेगी। इस लिथियम-आयन बैटरी को 50 kW DC चार्जर से 40 मिनट में 80 पर्सेंट चार्ज किया जा सकता है, जबकि स्टैंडर्ड 7.4 kW चार्जर से चार्ज करने में करीब 7 घंटे का समय लगेगा। कंपनी इस इलेक्ट्रिक एसयूवी के साथ 7.4 kWh चार्जर भी देगी। एमजी की इस इलेक्ट्रिक एसयूवी का मोटर 141 bhp की पावर और 353 Nm पीक टॉर्क जेनरेट करता है। कंपनी का दावा है कि जेडएस ईवी मात्र 8 सेकंड में 0-100 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की स्पीड पकड़ लेगी। इसकी बैटरी वॉटर और डस्ट प्रूफ है। कंपनी ने कहा है कि जेडएस ईवी की भारत में 1 लाख किलोमीटर से ज्यादा टेस्टिंग की गई है।
