Treat auto sector akin to 'essential services': Industry body urges govt May 01, 2020 at 05:10AM

Three industry bodies of the automotive sector, SIAM, ACMA and FADA, on Friday urged the government to allow the entire value chain in the auto industry to resume operations. The sector is losing revenue to the tune of Rs 2,300 crore per day and therefore starting of economic activity in the sector is critical.
