The automobile industry is stressing on a scrappage policy and a 4% cut in GST as top demands from Budget 2020. The sector which has been hit by the worst slowdown in 20 years is also facing a host of safety and emission regulations which will increase the price of vehicles substantially, hurting consumer sentiments even more.
