FASTags overtake cash in NH toll collection December 25, 2019 at 10:21AM

While average daily toll collection through FASTags increased by nearly 66% in a month — from Rs 26.4 crore in the third week of November (17-23) to Rs 44 crore in the third week of December (15-21), daily cash collection dipped by 30% during this period — from Rs 51 crore to Rs 35.5 crore. Highway ministry officials are hopeful the collection will go up further.
